Insurance

Travel Insurance is compulsory on all Smooth China Travel trips and is a condition of booking with Smooth China Travel. When selecting a travel insurance policy we require that at a minimum you are covered for medical expenses including emergency repatriation. We strongly recommend that the policy also covers personal liability, cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage and personal effects.

This will not only guarantee you peace of mind while you travel with Smooth China Travel but will also cover you for many of the things that can go wrong while overseas.

Your insurance policy will need to be sighted by your Tour Guide on day one of your trip. Failure to do so will mean exclusion from the trip. Please ensure you have your policy number and emergency telephone number for your insurance company. If this is unavailable please ensure you have the necessary information required by your Insurance Company in case of an emergency.

We also recommend you take out cancellation insurance. This may cover cancellation penalties in certain circumstances if you have to cancel your trip unexpectedly due to illness, injury or unforeseen circumstances. Unfortunately cancellation insurance will not cover you if you change your mind.
